Yarra Valley Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Located just an hour east of Melbourne, is one of Victoria's most celebrated cool climate wine regions and a nascent olive oil region. With varied topography, from valley floors to hillside slopes, and a temperate climate with warm summers and cool nights, it has ideal conditions for both grape and olive cultivation. The valley's well drained soils and protection from harsh winds have attracted EVOO growers. Whilst the Yarra Valley is popular among wine drinkers, Victoria's Mornington Peninsula is more well renowned for quality EVOO production.
