About Western Peloponnese
The Western Peloponnese takes in the low hills and coastal plains of Elis, part of the Western Greece administrative region, where the Alfeios river valley runs past the site of Ancient Olympia towards the Ionian Sea. Olive growing is a long-standing part of the local farm economy, with groves mixed among vineyards and small family holdings. The catalogued olive production comes from PJ KABOS, founded in 2013 by James Panagiotopoulos, whose family groves lie near Ancient Olympia. It sources olives from its own groves and other small family-run farms, and its range includes oils made from the local Olympia olive.
