Yamada Olive Garden is a pioneering organic olive farm located on Shodoshima Island in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan, overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. Recognised as the first farm in Japan to successfully cultivate olives organically, it holds the distinction of being the first olive farm certified under the country's organic JAS standards. The farm produces a range of single-varietal organic extra virgin olive oils - including Picual, Coratina, Leccino, Arbequina, and Hojiblanca - all cold-pressed on-site from hand-picked fruit grown without pesticides or irrigation. Their philosophy centres on sustainable, chemical-free farming practices, with a commitment to producing fresh, high-quality Japanese olive oil from tree to bottle.
