Woodpecker Trail Olive Farm is a family-run olive oil producer in Glennville, Georgia, operated by sixth-generation farmers Tracy and Curtis Poling. The farm grows over 10,000 olive trees across 20+ acres, cultivating international varieties including French Salonenque, Italian Lucca, and Arbequina olives. They hand-harvest and cold-press their olives within 24 hours to produce extra virgin olive oil with less than 0.06% acidity, overseeing every aspect from grove management to bottling.
The farm has won a Silver Award at the New York International Olive Oil Competition and focuses on sustainable practices including responsible soil management and fair labour conditions. All their olive oil is estate-grown and bottled in the United States, and they offer tours and tastings to visitors. Woodpecker Trail positions itself as a pioneer in expanding quality American olive oil production beyond California to the South.
