Viva's Olive Oil is produced by Chef Viva Karousos, who hails from the village of Karousata on the island of Kefalonia in the Ionian Islands of Greece. Born and raised on the island before moving to New York at age five, she grew up surrounded by the culinary traditions of her homeland, inspired by her father who was also a chef. Her extra virgin olive oil comes from Divarata, Kefalonia, reflecting her deep connection to the island's rich agricultural heritage. Through her olive oil, Viva shares authentic Kefalonian flavours rooted in a lifelong passion for the food culture of her birthplace.
