Vasse Virgin

Louis and Edwina Scherini founded Vasse Virgin nearly 20 years ago after seeking chemical-free alternatives to care for their eczema-prone children's sensitive skin. Experimenting in their kitchen, they discovered the healing qualities of extra virgin olive oil and developed a gentle, cold-processed soap. As demand grew, their range expanded to include lotions, balms, and oils, and by 2001, their products were distributed nationally and internationally. In 2006, they opened their first store in Margaret River, later rebranding as Vasse Virgin and introducing a gourmet olive food line. Continued popularity led to further retail expansion, including a second store in Margaret River and a flagship factory and retail experience at Seppeltsfield in South Australia, winning several tourism awards. Today, Vasse Virgin is celebrated for its luxurious, natural skin care and gourmet products, crafted from olive oil and botanicals, and remains a popular destination for visitors and customers worldwide.
