
Terra Centuria
Terra Centuria, cofounded by Dr. Danijel Stojković Kukulin, a specialist in molecular genetics and biotechnology, represents new generations of olive growers in Slovenian Istria. The company produces high polyphenolic extra virgin olive oil from olives grown in local groves, harvested at their peak in an unripe stage to maximise polyphenol content, reaching 1849 mg per litre. Olives are cold-pressed in an experimental mill where ongoing research refines processes to preserve quality and natural properties. They emphasise sustainable methods, resulting in organic EVOO that maintains environmental integrity. Terra Centuria was the first in Istria to initiate pressing for the season and received the Gold Standard of Excellence at the OLYMPIA Health & Nutrition Awards 2025 in Athens, Greece.
