Takesan

Takesan is a producer based on Shodoshima island in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan, with a history spanning around 400 years in traditional food production. They specialise in natural brewing methods, producing extra virgin olive oil alongside soy sauce and other products without using additives, preservatives or fermentation promoters. Their pesticide-free farm covers approximately 20,000 square metres where they grow over 30 types of herbs, olives and chili peppers, which they use to develop their range of seasonings and processed foods. The company combines long-established brewing techniques with modern quality control to create products that preserve the original taste of ingredients.
