Shodoshima Olive

Shodoshima Olive is an olive producer and retailer founded in 1950 on Shodoshima Island in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. On its roughly two-hectare farm in Takimiya, on the island's north-western side, the company grows around six olive cultivars for culinary and cosmetic use. It develops, manufactures, and sells olive oils, olive foods, and skincare products alongside selected Shodoshima specialities. Its limited-production hand-picked extra virgin olive oil is made from ripe, undamaged Shodoshima fruit that is pressed while fresh, then blended in-house to balance the character of the available cultivars.
