Robinsons Bay
Robinsons Bay Olives has been producing olive oil on New Zealand's Banks Peninsula since 2006. The grove contains approximately 1,000 trees featuring varieties from Italy, Spain, Israel, Palestine and Australia, all planted around 20 years ago. Owners Chris and Annette Moore harvest their olives in June/July with help from friends and family, with Chris hand-bottling the oil to maintain artisan traditions. Their product range includes their award-winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil—certified by Olives New Zealand and recognised as "New Zealand's Best" multiple times—alongside six flavoured oils including popular garlic and citrus infusions. The Moores sell their oils at local markets including Riverside Market and Christchurch Farmers Market, where Chris conducts tastings and shares his knowledge with customers.
