River Estate is a New Zealand olive oil producer located on the banks of the Turanga river in Whitford, Auckland, operating from a farm that has been in the Wade family since 1852. The company grows six oil varieties and two table olive varieties across 1,500 trees, having started with their first planting in 1997 and producing oil since 1999. They process their olives using cold-pressed methods at approximately 25°C on the same day as picking, using their own onsite pressing and bottling facilities with modern centrifuge technology. All their 2024 oils are certified as Extra Virgin and meet international standards, with recent competition successes including a Gold medal for their Frantoio variety and Silver for Picual.
