Petra Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a family-owned, boutique olive estate in Western Australia’s renowned Margaret River region, established in 1999 and committed to producing premium extra virgin olive oils as well as flavoured oils, gourmet foods, and skincare products. With olives hand-harvested at optimal ripeness and cold-pressed within 24 hours, Petra ensures high polyphenol content (350-500+ ppm) and very low free fatty acids (≤0.3%), reflecting top quality and freshness. The estate features a blend of Italian, Greek, French, and Spanish olive varieties, uses small-batch production and advanced storage methods, and has won awards for both plain and infused oils at the Perth Royal Show. Petra’s olive oils are sold only from the current season and are unfiltered to maximise antioxidants and robust flavors. The estate also offers luxury and dog-friendly farmstay accommodation. Notably, Petra’s oils consistently surpass Australian standards, outperforming many imported brands in both quality and authenticity.
