The Cooperativa Agrícola de Moura e Barrancos is an agricultural cooperative based in Moura, Alentejo, Portugal, producing premium PDO olive oils under the renowned Azeite de Moura denomination, which is the oldest and most reputable designation of origin in Portugal. Their oils are crafted from traditional local olive varieties including Cordovil, Galega, and Verdeal Alentejana, grown on the Left Bank of the Guadiana region. They offer a range of extra virgin and virgin olive oils, including organic and selection batches, with flavour profiles featuring notes of leafy green, tomato plant, apple, almond and dried fruit. The cooperative also preserves traditional branding through their Salúquia range, maintaining historical connections to the Arab occupation of the Iberian Peninsula.
