Monterosa

Monterosa is an olive oil producer based in Moncarapacho, Algarve, Portugal, founded in 1969 by Swedish entrepreneur Detlev von Rosen. Originally focused on vegetable and ornamental plant production, the company transitioned to premium olive oil in 2000. They emphasise sustainable practices, hand harvesting olives at optimal ripeness and minimising the time between harvest and extraction to preserve quality. Their range includes five premium single variety oils (Verdeal, Maçanilha, Frantoio, Picual and Cobrançosa) plus a Selection blend and Horta do Félix.
