Molly's Grove
Molly’s Grove is a boutique, family-run olive grove in Moorbel near Canowindra, on the traditional lands of the Wiradjuri people in New South Wales’ Central West. After five years searching for their ideal rural home, Mark and Sue discovered the former Porters Olive Grove—400 trees planted in 2001—and endured a two-year drought while researching every step of extra virgin olive oil production. When the rains returned in 2020, they fenced the grove into blocks, installed roof-water tanks and built a purpose-made mill complete with a cool room, storage racking and bottling area. Two Shropshire sheep now graze the grass to boost biodiversity, and the grove’s name honours Molly, their dearly missed city dog whose memory inspired the brand. The farm sits just a short drive from the historic town of Canowindra, famed for its annual International Balloon Challenge.
