Mineo Nouen Itonamisha

Mineo Nouen Itonamisha is an olive producer and mill based on Etajima in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. Founder Ryohei Mineo moved from Kanagawa to Etajima through the city's olive-focused regional revitalization program, then established Setouchi Itonamisha after training in cultivation and processing while helping build Etajima's identity as an "olive island."

The producer focuses on hand-harvested local olives, same-day milling, and oils designed as finishing seasonings rather than anonymous cooking fats. Their stated goal is to help build a "100-year olive island" through long-term cultivation, local sourcing, and products rooted in everyday Setouchi life. The shop also highlights recognition at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, including a Gold Award for the 2023 Etajima Blend Strong and a Silver Award for the Lucca single-varietal oil.
