Meirinho Biológico

Meirinho Biológico is an organic olive oil producer based in Vimioso, Trás-os-Montes, Portugal. The family has cultivated olive groves in the Campo de Víboras area since the 1980s, maintaining traditional local varieties including santulhana, negrinha, lentisca and cobrançosa. They produce cold pressed extra virgin olive oil with intense fruity flavours and low acidity of 0.2%, using environmentally sustainable farming methods. In 2014, the younger generation formalised the organic production, and in 2020 they expanded operations to include in house packaging and an online store.
