Mate Olive Oil

Mate Olive Oil comes from Zambratija in Croatia's Istrian region, where olive groves near the sea enjoy ideal conditions of sun, wind, soil, and sea. Mate Vekić planted his first olive tree at the age of 75 around the turn of the millennium and built an oil mill overlooking the sea. Each year, the team carefully harvests the olives and presses them in real time, blending traditional methods with modern technology. Their simple philosophy maximises the natural qualities of the olives to produce organic extra virgin oils that capture Istria's unique aromas and flavours.
