Marbrin Olive Farm
Marbrin Olive Farm is a family-run operation located in the Robertson Breede River Valley, South Africa. The farm was established in 2012 by Clive and Briony, who returned to South Africa after living abroad in London. They cultivate Frantoio, Coratina, and Mission olive cultivars, which are processed using two-phase decanter technology and cold extraction methods. The operation produces a range of extra virgin olive oils, including unflavoured and infused varieties such as lemongrass, fennel, white truffle, coriander seed, dill, and chilli. Additional products include olive tapenade, balsamic reduction, and chilli olive paste.
The farm has earned gold medals at the SA Olive Awards and placements in the ABSA Top 5 and Top 10. Marbrin operates a tasting experience from Wolvendrift (Klue) Wine Farm on the R317 Bonnievale Road, where visitors can sample olive oils and related products by appointment. The operation also offers combined wine and olive oil tastings in collaboration with Klue's, a fourth-generation wine farm. The venue is rated highly on TripAdvisor for visitor experiences in the Robertson area.
