Illalangi
Illalangi is a family-owned gourmet food business based in Waikerie, South Australia's Riverland. Founded in 2010 by John and Keryn Gorman, who have grown grapes and olives for over 20 years, the company focuses on producing and selling local foods, including olive oil. The name means 'home on a hill', reflecting their connection to the land. In 2011, Keryn opened a retail store on Sturt Highway to showcase their products, which have grown to include dried fruit, gourmet fine wines, olive oil, dukkha and handmade jams and condiments. The business has expanded to four times its original size and now employs six locals. Their store highlights the Riverland's fresh, high-quality produce, with the region known for its clean, green environment and abundant sunlight that infuses local produce with flavour. The label features Aboriginal-inspired art depicting the Rainbow Serpent, a symbol linked to water and nature's power.
