Green Olive at Red Hill

Green Olive at Red Hill is a family-run winery and olive grove located on a 27-acre farm in the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, about an hour from Melbourne. The O'Donoghue family grows olives, grapes, herbs, vegetables, bush food and hops in the farm's rich volcanic soil, while also raising sheep and chickens. Their child-friendly and dog-friendly farm offers a complete farm experience with an all-day food and wine menu served from 9am to 5pm in their restaurant. Visitors can enjoy farm tours, purchase products from their farm shop, and take part in cooking classes to learn about fresh food preparation using their home-grown produce.

The property is located at 1180 Mornington Flinders Road in Main Ridge, offering stunning views of the dam, vineyard and vegetable garden. The farm features a playground and Pickleball court, making it ideal for families. Guests can relax on the outdoor lawn areas or enjoy alfresco dining while sampling estate-grown wines from their cellar door, which offers paid tastings. The fully licensed venue serves a range of beverages including wine, beer, cider and locally roasted coffee.

For a unique experience, the Farm Picnic allows guests to enjoy a delicious selection of food and wine on a rug by the dam, taking in the tranquil rural surroundings. The farm store stocks a range of products including their own olive oil, olives, relishes, chutneys, and nourishing olive oil body products. The winery practices hand-picked, single vineyard winemaking with sustainably produced and vegan-friendly wine options available.
