Gilmore Valley Grove

Gilmore Valley Grove is a small, family-run farm located in Gilmore Valley between Tumut and Batlow, about two hours west of Canberra. The farm produces extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) under the name 'The Rusty Bus', made from olives they planted by hand and harvested a little early for a fresher, more flavoursome oil. Their grove is managed without harmful chemicals, using only organic and sustainable practices. Despite facing droughts, bushfires, floods, and pests, Gilmore Valley Grove's EVOO has received gold medals and recognition at the Australian International Olive Awards. They also grow chemical-free garlic and produce a range of handmade garlic salts, all grown and prepared on their farm.
