Frog Hollow Farm is a 280-acre certified organic orchard located in Brentwood, California, approximately 50 miles east of San Francisco in the Bay Area. Founded by Farmer Al Courchesne in 1976, the farm has been producing organic fruit for over 45 years. Al graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in anthropology before embarking on his farming career, bringing an academic perspective to his agricultural practices.

The farm specializes in organic fruit production with a focus on regenerative agriculture, employing practices such as composting, cover cropping, and minimal tilling to maintain healthy soils and support local ecosystems. Frog Hollow Farm is certified organic through CCOF and holds designation from the Real Organic Project, ensuring adherence to rigorous organic standards. Fruit is allowed to ripen fully on the trees, with harvests conducted multiple times per season by an expert team that tests sugar content to select the ripest produce. This method ensures delivery from tree to table within 48 hours, preserving freshness for customers via nationwide shipping, Bay Area CSA pick-ups, and farmers' markets.

In addition to fruit, Frog Hollow Farm produces extra virgin olive oil from their own olive grove. Following the ancient Tuscan tradition, the farm presses olives early in the season—benefiting from Brentwood's warm climate, which allows them to harvest nearly a month ahead of other producers. Their Olio Nuovo (new oil) is particularly notable, featuring flavours of Granny Smith apples, matcha, and Cavolo Nero-Tuscan kale with a distinctive peppery finish. Pressed early in the season, the oil retains the highest levels of polyphenols, compounds that act as antioxidants.

The farm has received widespread recognition, including from Martha Stewart for its peaches, and supplies fruit to select farmers' markets throughout the Bay Area.
