Forest Edge Farm is a family-owned olive grove in Mount Barker, Western Australia, producing award-winning extra virgin olive oil. Owned by James and Anne Price, the farm was established in 2000 with 1500 Frantoio trees—a renowned Tuscan variety—with a further 200 trees planted in 2005, bringing the total to approximately 1700 trees. The grove operates on sustainable, chemical-free principles following permaculture philosophy, with extensive Eucalyptus tree windbreaks and water harvesting structures throughout the property.

Olives are hand-harvested annually around June to July using pneumatic rakes and nets to catch the falling fruit. The harvest brings together family and friends who gather each season to handpick the olives. Within 24 hours of harvest, the fruit is transported to a contract press to be processed. The freshly pressed oil is immediately stored in special stainless steel tanks before being packaged on site using protective casks similar to wine casks, as well as dark glass bottles, to shield the oil from light and preserve optimal freshness.

Forest Edge Farm complies with the HACCP management system and truth in labelling standards, ensuring consumers can purchase their products with confidence. In addition to their extra virgin olive oil, the farm also produces five varieties of table olives, along with preserved fruits, fruit pastes, chutneys and jams, depending on the season.

The farm has received numerous domestic and international accolades, including recognition in Marco Oreggia's L'Extravirgine and Flos Olei publications for seven consecutive years—a achievement unmatched by any other Australian producer. In 2012, Forest Edge Farm was awarded the Premier medal (Above Gold) for the best oil at the Olive Sommelier Association of Japan, and in 2013 they received a Gold medal at the New York International Olive Oil Competition.
