The Enny family-Jenny, Kenny, Lily, and Leo Grouf-began their olive oil venture after meeting in San Francisco in 1999 and moving to Geyserville in Northern Sonoma County, California, where they took over a small established olive orchard. They grow olives organically and harvest them in early November each year. The olives are cold-pressed into oil within hours at a mill in Hopland, creating a grassy extra virgin olive oil with a slightly bitter finish from high polyphenols.
