Divinity Olives
Divinity is a family-owned olive oil producer established in 2002 by Michael and Leanne Chinnery in Mangawhai, New Zealand. The estate, named after the goddess Athena who according to legend gifted the olive tree to humanity, grows the Tuscan Trinity varietals (Frantoio, Leccino and Pendolino). Since their first harvest in 2008, which yielded over 4 tonnes of olives, they have evolved from traditional hand-picking to mechanised harvesting, though they still value the communal experience of manual harvesting with family and friends. Their premium extra virgin olive oil represents a blend of old-world traditions with new-world innovation.
