
Dell's Favorite Texas Ranch
Dell's Favorite Texas Olive Ranch is run by Chef Frank and Renee Majowicz, who started their EVOO venture in 2011 on 3.5 acres of land in Elgin, Texas. After years of land preparation, they planted approximately 450 olive trees in 2014, and Frank began working the orchard full-time following his retirement in 2020 after 43 years as an executive chef with Hyatt Hotels. The ranch is named after Renee's grandmother Dell, and they have completed four successful harvests so far, producing oil from a blend of Arbequina and Arbosana olives that offers fresh, green, fruity flavours with a slightly peppery finish.
