Coolmunda Organics grows olives on their farm at Nunyara, near Inglewood on Queensland’s southern downs—a region with hot summers and cold winters that’s well suited to olive production. Irrigated by Lake Coolmunda, their groves include different olives like Spanish Arbequina and Manzanillo, Greek Kalamata and Volos, Cypriot Koroneiki, and North African Barouni, which create a variety of flavours in their extra virgin olive oil. The farm is about three hours from Brisbane and welcomes visitors for tastings and tours, making it a popular stop for those exploring the local area.
