Cockatoo Creek Farm

Cockatoo Creek Farm is a family-run farm in Yankalilla on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula, managed by Bridgett and Chris Day. They produce cold-pressed olive oil from their established grove of 250 trees, using three main olive varieties chosen specifically for quality oil. The grove is naturally managed with no chemical inputs and watered by rainfall only. Their olives are hand-picked and cold pressed within 48 hours of harvest for maximum flavour and freshness. The farm is committed to regenerative agriculture and holistic management, taking care to use natural farming practices and build healthy soils. All work is done by the family, with help from friends, and their focus is on producing distinctive food while improving the land. They sell directly to local customers, including at the Willunga Farmers Market (Saturdays 8am-12pm), and aim to support both community and the local environment.
