Belle and Bug Farms

Belle & Bug Farms operates as a family enterprise in Orland, California, within the Sacramento Valley. Founded by Kate and Patrick, the farm emerged from their desire to raise their children Belle and Bug in an environment where they could learn to grow their own food. Patrick brings sixth-generation farming experience from Northern Nevada, where he grew up raising livestock, whilst Kate developed her agricultural passion in California's Bay Area. The farm cultivates Sevillano olives on trees over 70 years old, producing award winning EVOO. Their diversified operation includes navel oranges, peaches, saffron, and seasonal cut flowers for local customers. Patrick focuses on orchard management, handling pruning and harvest operations for the olive, stone fruit, and citrus trees, whilst Kate manages the flower gardens and bouquet production. The farm supplies products directly to consumers via web and a presence at local farmers markets.
