Babylonstoren, established in 2007, is one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms, set at the foot of Simonsberg Mountain in the Franschhoek wine valley of South Africa. The farm is renowned for its organic olive oil production and features a fruit and vegetable garden of exceptional botanical diversity, alongside unique accommodation, fine food and wine, creating a holistic sense of wellbeing for visitors.

The farm cultivates olive groves in the loamy soils of Simonsberg Mountain, producing what they brand as "Liquid Sunshine" extra virgin olive oils. Their olive varieties include Frantoio, known for its light and delicate character, and Coratina, which offers a fiery and bold profile. They also produce a house blend, available in various sizes from 500 ml to 3 litres. The Agrumato range includes infused oils made with lemon, chilli, and blood oranges grown on the farm.

Farming practices exclude synthetic chemicals, relying on integrated pest management and natural soil enrichment. Olives are harvested mechanically and processed using a modern Frantoio oil mill, with cold extraction methods and stainless steel tanks ensuring quality. The oil is cold extracted in their on-farm cellar and stored in dark glass bottles to preserve freshness. Their products are available through their online shop with nationwide delivery in South Africa.

Sustainability initiatives include water conservation, renewable energy use, and waste reduction programmes. Babylonstoren's olive oil has received accolades at international competitions, including awards in New York and Los Angeles. The farm's approach balances traditional land stewardship with contemporary agricultural technology. The property also forms part of a collection of Sister Estates located in the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands and South Africa, sharing a philosophy of celebrating natural beauty and farm-to-table living.
