Azouro

Azouro is a premium Portuguese brand founded in 2013 by Stephen and Rachel Firth, with a mission to curate the finest authentic regional foods. Their extra virgin olive oil is a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) product, produced in the Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro region from indigenous olive varieties including Verdeal, Madural and Cobrançosa. The olives are handpicked and cold-pressed within hours, with all production required by PDO rules to take place in the same district where they are harvested. Azouro's philosophy centres on quality, provenance and sustainability, working with local growers to bring the distinctive flavours of Northern Portugal to an international market.
