Al Torcio is a family-run olive oil producer in Novigrad, Istria, Croatia, where the BeletiΔ‡ family-Đurdica and sons Karmino and Kristijan-carry on Tranquilino BeletiΔ‡'s vision with modernised production since 2005. They tend four groves spanning 4.78 hectares with 1,854 trees near the sea, hand-picking olives and milling them the same day to create premium extra virgin oils.

The family established their operation in 1989 alongside a restaurant called "Torci 18," later adding the olive mill in 2000. They were the first producer from Croatia to be included in Flos Olei-the world's most prestigious olive oil guide-in 2005 and have maintained continuous recognition every year since, making them pioneers in Croatian premium extra virgin olive oil production.

Their state-of-the-art mill is the most modern in Croatia, guaranteeing oils with approximately 30 percent higher polyphenol content and the highest yields per unit weight. They produce eight monovarietal oils: Frantoio, Leccino, Rosulja, Bianchera, Ascolana, Itrana, Moraiolo, and Pendolino, alongside a signature blend. Using cutting-edge technology, they achieve exceptionally low free fatty acids (0.09-0.16%) and high polyphenols for exceptional quality.

Their from-field-to-table philosophy has earned them numerous international awards. At the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition-the world's largest and most prestigious olive oil competition-they have won multiple gold medals, including two golds in 2019 for Frantoio and Itrana, plus a silver for Rosulja, and five golds in another year for Bianchera, Itrana, Moraiolo, Pendolino and Rosulja, with silver medals for Blend, Frantoio and Leccino. Their Leccino scored 95 points in Flos Olei 2025, and they have also received gold at the Dubai Olive Oil Competition and silver at Berlin GOOA. Their oils have been ranked among the top 200 in the world by German gourmet magazine Der Feinschmecker.
