Al Torcio

Al Torcio is a family-run olive oil producer in Novigrad, Istria, Croatia, where the Beletić family—Đurdica and sons Karmino and Kristijan—carry on Tranquilino Beletić's vision with modernised production since 2005. They tend four groves spanning 4.78 hectares with 1,854 trees near the sea, hand-picking olives and milling them the same day to create premium extra virgin oils from varieties like Frantoio, Leccino, Rosulja, and Bianchera, alongside a blend. Using cutting-edge technology, they achieve low free fatty acids (0.09-0.16%) and high polyphenols for exceptional quality. Their from-field-to-table philosophy has won them gold medals at top competitions like the New York International Olive Oil Competition.
