Adina Vineyard & Olive Grove is a 100-acre estate located in Lovedale, Hunter Valley, NSW, approximately two hours north of Sydney. The property is situated at 492 Lovedale Road, Lovedale, NSW 2325, and produces award-winning olive products alongside a range of premium wines. Established in the early 2000s by entrepreneur Peter O'Meara, the estate features a cellar door for tastings, three self-contained Mediterranean villa-style accommodations, and on-site facilities including a swimming pool and Reflections Day Spa.
Peter O'Meara played a pivotal role in the regional olive industry, serving as president of the Hunter Olive Association and briefly leading the Australian Olive Association. He also established the Hunter Olive Boutique Growers, providing local growers with essential processing facilities for olive oil and table fruit. In 2014, the estate expanded with the construction of a state-of-the-art facility housing a Pieralist olive mill imported from Italy to support production in the Hunter Valley and surrounding areas.
The estate's olive products have earned significant recognition at the 2023 Australian International Olive Awards in Canberra. Gold medals were awarded to Ligurian Style Olives (86/100), Orange and Thyme Olives (91/100), and Wild Olives (90/100). The Lime and Coriander Olives received a silver medal (85/100), while the 2023 Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil earned a bronze medal (68/100). The Orange and Thyme Olives claimed the championship title for Best Table Olive of Show in the Boutique Volume category, and the Ligurian Style Olives were named Reserve Champion in the Specialty Olives category. The Hunter Providore Wild Olives were crowned Champion in Class 15.
The estate offers visitors a range of experiences including wine and olive tastings at the cellar door, with options for premium wines, wine and olives, or olive and providore plates. The GT Room is a purpose-designed cellar door concept bringing together premium wine and olive tastings with automotive and design culture. Accommodation comprises three fully self-contained villas, each with three spacious bedrooms, ensuites, air-conditioning, fully equipped kitchens, gas fireplaces, and private decks with vineyard views. The on-site Estancia Adina restaurant offers dining options, and the Reflections Day Spa provides rejuvenating treatments.
The estate is conveniently located approximately 10 minutes from the Hunter Valley's top attractions, including concert venues, Hunter Valley Gardens, wineries, and fine dining restaurants. Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday and Monday from 10am to 4pm.
