Torzi Matthews' Vat No.1 Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. It is a blend of Frantoio, Koroneiki, Verdale, and Barossa Wild olives harvested from May to July on both the valley floor and ranges. The oil undergoes cold centrifuge extraction within 24 hours of hand-harvesting and remains unfiltered after natural settling in stainless steel vats. Its flavour profile features grassy, bitter, and peppery notes, complemented by tomato and tropical fruit undertones with a lingering peppery finish. This oil has garnered multiple awards from 2001 to 2010, including Gold at the South Australia Olive Awards in 2010 and the Australian Nationals in 2006, recognising its aromatic complexity and balanced intensity.
