Kaori 5go is a unique olive variety developed over decades at the Shodoshima Olive Research Institute in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan, and registered as a distinct cultivar in 2021. This oil has a deep green colour and contains abundant polyphenols, delivering strong pungency and bitterness. It pairs well with grilled fish, meat and strongly flavoured vegetables.
