Produced from hand-harvested olives grown on Shodoshima island in Japan's Seto Inland Sea, this extra virgin olive oil comes from the country's first recipient of the Sol d'Oro special award at the international competition in Verona. The oil displays strong fruitiness, bitterness and pungency with aromas of grass, green apple, arugula, tomato stem and banana, and pairs well with meat dishes, grilled fish, salads and pasta.
