Rošinjola, an Istrian autochthonous olive variety particularly from the Rovinj area, produces this extra virgin olive oil of green-golden hue with an intense fruity aroma and flavour of fresh olives. It offers balanced initial bitterness and spiciness that evolves into a strong hot pepper note. Ideal for pan-fried turkey, chicken and red meat, mushroom soup, mature cheeses, and traditional Istrian pastas such as fuži or pasutice with cod. Its distinctive taste excels with raw morels and as an addition to dry hazelnut or almond biscuits.
