Olivo Tuscan Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil

This Tuscan Estate Blend represents the ninth vintage of this speciality oil from Olivo. The 2024 release features an equal balance of Frantoio and Leccino varieties, reflecting what the grove naturally yielded that season. Classified as medium intensity, this oil continues the tradition of excellence established by its predecessors, with the 2021, 2022, and 2023 vintages all securing Gold medals.

The 2024 vintage has been awarded a Silver medal, with judges noting its complex aromatic profile of green almonds, walnuts, and green nectarine delivered with significant intensity. On the palate, the flavours develop gradually, revealing multiple layers that evolve through experiences of bitterness, dryness, and a pungent finish, culminating in a pleasant warmth with good length and aftertaste.

Characterised by green, grassy notes within a rich and balanced profile featuring late pungency, this oil is particularly suited to salads, steamed vegetables, and as a finishing drizzle for soups.
