Oio Vivo Žižolera

Žižolera is a rare varietal extra virgin olive oil from the autochthonous Žižolera olives, specific to the Vodnjan area in Istria, Croatia. It displays a golden yellow colour with a green sheen and pronounced density. The medium to intense fruity aroma evokes fresh oregano, artichoke, green tomato, and green pepper, complemented by a full-bodied, lingering taste with pleasantly surprising spiciness. It pairs excellently with pasta, meat, risotto, chocolate desserts, and vanilla ice cream.
