Extra virgin olive oil from the Leccino variety, a Tuscan olive widespread in Slovenian Istria after the Istrian Belica. The variety yields slightly earlier and shows resistance to frost and certain diseases. The oil exhibits a medium mild flavour with balanced bitterness and spiciness. Suitable for pasta, rice, white meat, fish, minestrone, vegetable soups and salads.
