Lot Eight Oil Maker's Blend Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Lot Eight's Oil Maker's Blend is the company's signature extra virgin olive oil, first released in 2002. This traditional blend combines selected olive varieties to achieve a balanced profile of fruitiness and herbaceousness that adapts to the seasonal characteristics of each harvest.

The Oil Maker's Blend is versatile for both cold and warm applications, suitable as a dipping oil or finishing touch for various dishes including salads, vegetables, pasta, risotto, meat, poultry, and fish.

This award-winning oil has received consistent recognition, earning Gold medals at the Olives New Zealand Judging from 2021-2023, Best Blend Southern Hemisphere at the Olio Nuovo Judging in France (2021-2023), Gold at the Paris Olio Nuovo 2020 Judging, Gold at the Paris Olio Nuovo Kids Selection 2020, and Gold at the New York Olive Oil Judging 2015.

Organoleptics data and free fatty acids appear to match data from earlier years and we have yet to confirm with the producer whether these tests were completed in 2025 along with the new reading for polyphenols and peroxide value.
