Kotetsi Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from organically grown olives cultivated in Queensland's Granite Belt at an altitude of approximately 850 meters above sea level. The region is characterized by a cool, dry climate, frequent frosts, and granite-rich, sandy soil. These challenging conditions limit overall fruit yield but contribute to a concentrated, intense flavour in the oil.
Harvesting is performed by hand and the oil is unfiltered, produced solely from the first cold pressing on-site.
