Karataş Akyaka Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This is a sharper, more assertive Karataş oil among its range. It tastes green and fresh, with herbal notes up front, almond through the middle and a peppery finish that stays with you.
An ideal oil if you like one with some grip. The bitterness and pungency make it especially good as a finishing oil over tomatoes, bitter leaves, beans, grilled vegetables, fresh cheese or bread where you want the oil to bring its game to the plate.
This line is sourced from mountain-village groves around Akyaka at 500 to 870 metres.
