Kante Istrska Belica

Kante's single-variety Istrska Bjelica oil comes from the native Istrian cultivar, usually harvested in October and processed as soon as possible after picking. It is produced solely by mechanical means and shows fresh aromas of cut grass, artichoke, tomato and radicchio with a pronounced bitter and pungent character. The family describe this oil as having a solid polyphenol content, though it is unclear whether hydroxytyrosol levels support an EU blood-lipid protection claim.
