Gold Ridge Organic Farms' Minerva Blend Extra Virgin Olive Oil is aromatic and bright, with a toasty nose, suave silky mouthfeel, and flavours of roasted walnuts, pine nuts, freshly mown hay, and white peppercorns, offering a highly textured profile rich in antioxidants. This medium bodied, medium pungent oil is made from an Italian blend of Minerva, Frantoio, Maurino, Cerasuola, and Ladoeli olives, all estate grown and milled on their Oregon Tilth and CCOF certified organic farm in Sonoma County, with a total phenol content of 421 at harvest. It excels as a finishing oil, ideal for drizzling over grilled vegetables, meats, hummus, tapenade, roasted winter squash, pasta, pesto, or robust autumn and winter salads, and is annually certified extra virgin by the California Olive Oil Council (COOC).
