Basque Away Arbequina-Mission Reserve Blend

Basque Away's Arbequina-Mission Reserve blends estate-grown Arbequina, Mission and a touch of French Picholine from the family's Creston ranch near Paso Robles. The olives are hand-picked in November and they cold press the fruit within hours. Then it's naturally racked to a clear golden green. The oil displays a fresh-cut grass and garden herb aroma, with a grassy, buttery palate layered with almond and herbaceous notes, firm bitterness and a peppery finish (likely driven by the high polyphenol count of 679 mg/kg - labs as yet unseen by EVV).

Note on labels : The producer markets their oils as the following year's release e.g. they list their 2024 oil as 2025.
