Al Torcio Moraiolo extra virgin olive oil is a varietal oil from Moraiolo olives, produced in Istria, Croatia. It is clear with an intense golden-yellow colour. The aroma features composed, fine notes of gentle vegetables and complex fruit, including artichoke, wild hawthorn, rosemary, and sweet almond. The taste is gentle and harmonious, with notes of freshly mown grass, lettuce, wild chicory, and dried fruit; bitterness and spiciness are restrained. Suitable for steamed vegetable appetisers, gratinee vegetables, creamy legume soups, pasta with shellfish and mussels, baked fish, stewed white meat, and medium-aged cheeses.
